Susie Song has been a nurse at USC for over 30 years. She earned her RN at Los Angeles Community College and her BSN at California State University of Los Angeles in 1989. After serving at LAC/USC Medical Center in Chest Medicine and in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Susie became Assistant Director for the USC Pacemaker Center and has served as Coordinator for the Food and Drug Administration. She currently serves as device coordinator at University Hospital.

Susie's professional memberships include the Heart Rhythm Society and Fellow Heart Rhythm Society, and she has served as an Advisory Council Member, on the CAP Program Committee, Continuing Medical Education Committee, and the Executive Committee, among numerous other leadership positions.

She has also contributed to important publications, including "The Bilitch Report: Performance of Implantable Cardiac Management Device" published in PACE, and "Multicenter experience with failed and recalled implantable cardioverter defibrillator pulse generators," published in 2006 with the Heart Rhythm Society.

Susie has also presented internationally on cardiac pacing and electrophysiology in Japan, India, China, Italy, and Korea.
