Background
Radha Jonnalagedda Sarma got her MBBS degree in 1967 from Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, India. Then she came to USA in 1968, trained in internal medicine at the Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan. Dr. Sarma completed her cardiology fellowship at the Los Angeles County USC Medical Center, University of Southern California, in Los Angeles and stayed on the faculty there. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and the American College of Physicians. During her medical carrier she received several grants from the American Heart Association, the National Institutes of Health and many pharmaceutical companies.
