Background

Dr. Lawrence is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley in 1995 and Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine in 1999. Her clinical training includes completing her residency in Internal Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident from 2002-2003. She also completed a three-year fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. After completing her training in 2006, she joined the Keck School of Medicine of USC’s Division of Cardiovascular Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine specializing in cardiovascular imaging and women’s cardiovascular health. She left USC in 2008 to join Kaiser Permanente in Walnut Creek, CA where she was a Staff Physician and Director of Cardiac Computed Tomography. She has returned to the USC Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and is a member of the Echocardiography team. She is the director of the Echocardiography lab at LAC +USC Medical Center and also reads echocardiograms at University Hospital and CVTI. Dr. Lawrence will see patients in the Women’s Cardiovascular Clinic at the CVTI. Dr. Lawrence is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Echocardiography, Cardiac Computed Tomography and Nuclear Cardiology.
