Background

After several years at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and UC Irvine College of Medicine, Dr. Cesario joined the faculty at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Originally from Boston, MA, Dr. Cesario received his extensive education and medical training in Southern California, including his undergraduate degree and PhD from UCLA and his medical degree from UC San Diego.

Dr. Cesario has been the honored recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, including a member of the National Freshman Honor Society and the Golden Key National Honor Society. He also won the UCLA Internal Medicine Chief Residents' Appreciation Award and was awarded the Outstanding Teaching Fellow in internal medicine by the UCLA Medical House Staff three times.

Dr. Cesario has been an invited lecturer and presenter at medical conferences and universities across the country and has co-authored nearly 40 peer-review manuscripts. In addition, Dr. Cesario has participated in the authoring of multiple book chapters, editorials and abstracts; all furthering his reputation as an accomplished researcher and writer.
