Clinical Research Unit
Clinical Trials and Registries
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine Clinical Research Unit (CRU) conducts a variety of clinical trials that are currently enrolling new patients. Protocols offered through the CRU include both Investigator Initiated and Industry Sponsored clinical trials studying the safety and effectiveness of new drug and device therapies in the areas of carotid artery disease, coronary artery disease, electrophysiology, heart failure, ischemic heart disease, heart attack and stroke.
There are also several registries facilitated by the CRU which focus on patient outcomes that we hope will help us to learn more about heart disease as well as improve patient care.
