 Ed Manicka, PhD

Ed has over 18 years med-tech experience in Business Development, Sales and Marketing, and R&D. Before joining Corventis as President and CEO in early 2007, Ed was Program Director, Neuro-Cardiac Therapy at Boston Scientific CRM. Prior to that, Ed was with Guidant, where he held executive positions in both Cardiac Rhythm Management and Vascular Intervention divisions. Ed has over 20 US and international patents in the fields of cardiovascular device therapy, wireless patient management, and bio-absorbable drug eluting stents.
Ed obtained his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India. He also has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. |
